Milana’s journey into the world of design began in the most authentic way possible: at

home. Raised by a civil engineer mother and a carpenter father, she grew up in

a house where blueprints and wood shavings were everyday sights. Creativity and

precision were part of the family DNA. While other kids were doodling, Milana

was sketching room layouts. By 14, she wasn’t just dreaming about design—she was

drafting her own bedroom plans with purpose and intention.

But design wasn’t her only talent. Milana was also a competitive tennis player, traveling the world from the age of nine. While she was fiercely focused on the game, it was during those global adventures that her imagination took flight. Each new city exposed her to different cultures, architecture, and ways of living—unintentionally shaping the global perspective she now brings to her work.

Though life temporarily led her toward computer engineering, the creative spark refused to dim. It wasn’t long before she made a bold move: leaving her home country to pursue interior architecture at San Diego State University, all while competing at the division 1 level on a full athletic scholarship. It’s this blend of discipline, drive, and daring that continues to fuel her design practice today.
